About the park

Welcome to Bayside Wake Park!

Maybe you’ve tried surfing, skateboarding or snowboarding and want something similar, or you just want a new and exciting activity. Either way, you’ll LOVE our wakeboard  park located in the heart of sunny South East Queensland, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. 

We cater to all experience levels, from beginners to advanced riders. For riders that want an added adrenaline rush, we have PRO wakeboards available to hire which can be used at the park on the  obstacles. There are learn to wakeboard lessons for all ages in a group or as a private lesson. After you try it once… you’ll be back for more!. We have a licenced cafe on site, therefore no commerical food or BYO alcohol is allowed

Where It All Started

We first opened in 2003 during the IWSF World Cable Wakeboarding Titles, drawing riders in from all over the world to compete against the best in Australia. Our owner Peter Wilkings is a former Australian Waterski team member and IWWF wakeboard judge who has been involved in the industry since the origination of wakeboarding in Australia. In other words… we live and breath all things wakeboarding!

Park Obstacles

Our spacious park has more jumps, rails, kickers and wedges than you’ll know what to do with! All of our obstacles are secured in place with poles, which means they don’t float around or move, allowing you to practice your favourite movies with precision. Everything is properly maintained to make sure you can enjoy our awesome park all year round.

Your Safety

The safety of our riders is our number one priority, and we want you to have a safe and fun time while you are with us.

• Helmets provided to all riders
• All obstacles are regularly maintained
• All riders receive a safety briefing before riding on the lake
• Trained staff supervise all sessions
• We meet all safety requirements for the industry
